I've been extremely worried in the last several weeks that the Israeli attack on Lebanon may well have pushed the Arab world over the edge, far enough over the edge to bring on the possible destruction of the state of Israel. The Israelis ill-conceived actions with the support of the stupid and dangerous Bush administration and Bush’s poodle government in Great Britain have created a powerful Shite enemy with troops in Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran, willing to commit suicide to promote their religion and control the region, and destroy Israel.
Considering Israel is having its Saturn return, my fears are not only not assuaged but are amplified by a recent dialogue between Nathan Gardels, writing for the Huffington Post, and for security advisor in the Carter administration, Zbigniew Brzezinski.
Brzezinski says: "Neocon prescriptions (might makes right in Iraq as well as in Lebanon) are fatal for America and ultimately for Israel. They will totally turn the overwhelming majority of the Middle East's population against the United States. The lessons of Iraq speak for themselves. Eventually, if neocon policies continue to be pursued, the United States will be expelled form the region and that will be the beginning of the end for Israel as well."
Those Democrats and other well-meaning Americans who support Israel's latest debacle are unable to 1. Tell the difference between the Jews and the Zionist government. (They think that anyone that fails to support Israel is anti-Semitic), and 2. Understand that the government and it's Prime Minister, Olmert, is presently just about as right wing as the Bush administration.
If we chart a 3-way comparison between Olmert, Bush, and Israel, we get the following unfortunate aspects:
Israel began its miserable business when transiting Saturn (karma) made a conjunction with its birth chart Pluto (brutal force) and squared the Moon's north and south nodes. With Olmert's and Bush's Pluto conjunct Israel's, as well as squaring the nodes of the Moon, Saturn has brought the brutality (Pluto) that lurks in all three to the surface and, consequently, is visible in the 10th house of public standing in Israel's chart for all the world to see.
With Olmert's Mars (aggression) in Cancer conjunct Bush's Sun (ego), the two boys reinforce each other in an attempt to cover up their feelings of inadequacy about their masculinity (Bush's Sun and Olmert's Mars square Israel's Neptune). With regards to foreign policy (their Mars and Sun in Israel's 9th house) both Bush and Olmert are under the sway of a fantasy (Neptunian) Israel. Further indications that both Bush and Olmert are bad for Israel is their stellium of Libra planets locked up in Israel's 12th house of secret enemies and self-undoing.
In an article by Eric Margolis, "The War has Backfired for Israel, and its old Lebanese curse keeps getting worse,"the author refers to Doron Rosenblum, a columnist for the excellent Israeli newspaper, Ha'aretz, who says that the real cause of this war was the 'grave insult' to Olmert's manhood which occurred when Hezbollah's leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, taunted the turdy threesome, Olmert, Defense Minister Peretz and Chief of Staff Dan Halutz. Nasrallah, apparently, sneered that the three were small compared to Ariel Sharon. 'Adding fuel to the fire,' said Rosemblum, 'Nasrallah' emphasized the "small" with his fingers."
So all this death and destruction has been caused by Olmert's inadequacy feelings about his masculinity (Sun conjunct Neptune, square Mars)? Pretty damn sick. And as we saw earlier, his lack of sexual self-esteem ties in perfectly with Bush's. Remember what Wilhelm Reich said about the link between authoritarianism and repressed sexuality?"
Political commentators and pundits rarely see the psychological dysfunctions behind political actions. Perhaps because they too are loony tunes. Rush Limbaugh is a good example. Ann Coulter is another. It's unfortunate that not only are crackpots running the government, they are also commenting on it.
Olmert's issues about his masculinity affect much of the rest of his chart with his massive Mercury (thinking), Neptune (delusion), Sun (ego), Jupiter (expansion), Chiron (wounded ness) in Libra conjunction square Mars (aggression, masculinity) in Cancer. The keynote of Libra is diplomacy and seeing both sides but some Libras are primitive, as though they are learning about their peacekeeping role for the first time. With Chiron, the wounded healer, involved in this configuration, we can predict that his violent overreaction will cause him much distress now and in the future.
It is also interesting to note the square between all of these Libra planets and his north and south nodes of the Moon in Cancer. The direction he is supposed to go in, Cancer North Node--security for his family--is really being compromised by his knee jerk reaction in defending his masculine honor (Mars/Neptune).
Further observations include Olmert's lack of major Saturn aspects with other planets. Bush has the same problem which translates as irresponsible actions leading to a compromise of America's security (9-11). It was the Bush's administration head in the sand approach that led to the deaths of over 3000 people. With Saturn in Cancer, neither head of state will admit to their complicity in compromising the security of their countries.
Bush and Olmert's irresponsible actions have led to the dangerous ascendancy of Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations that have gained the allegiance of Arabs throughout the Middle East. What's next? The destruction of Israel when Saturn reaches its square to Israel’s Sun, beginning in October? Another 9-11 for America, which may be the sociopathic Rovian solution to Bush's waning popularity?
