Not all quadruple Sagittarians are weasel turkeys like writer and putrid pontificator, Ann Coulter. In her case, however, the plethora of planets ruled by the archer makes her bombastic, irresponsible in speech, and downright embarrassing. Two degree symbols for her Sun in Sagittarius at 16° and 23'(either 16 or 17 degrees) both describe a woman that displays low level Sagittarian traits. Other low level Sagittarians include serial killer Ted Bundy, South Carolina Senator Strom Thurmond, and Spanish dictator Francisco Franco.
The 16 degree symbol is described in the Zodiac Image Handbook--Mutable Signs by Dutch writers, Helene and Willem Koppejan as: “An empty wagon is emerging from a tunnel in a mountain, with a noise like thunder. It is drawn by three cart-horses at the gallop, in the direction of a fertile valley on the right, where a castle can be seen in the distance, with peasants working in the grounds.”
The writers contend that the left side of the picture symbolizes, “a very pretentious person full of magnified importance, one who is always pushing herself into the foreground, who has very little inner life of any value to give. She is then truthfully ‘not worth such a pound.’ Such people are not bad, but too exuberant in search of notoriety.” This description certainly fits Coulter who seems to be putting her foot in her mouth regularly in order to gain attention, and who has nothing positive to offer.
The writers go on to say that individuals with this degree are inadequate and their inadequacy is masked by empty self-assurance. Although they have zeal and drive and put shoulders to the wheel, the wagon is empty. Everything she says attracts attention and is said with a certain vigor, yet her words are absolutely meaningless, as well as offensive. For example: “My only regret with Timothy McVeigh, is he did not go to the New York Times building.” Or after 9-11 when she said, “We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.” She also loves racial slurs and likes to make bigots laugh when she says, “Our motto should be after 9-11: Jihad monkey talks tough, jihad monkey takes the consequences. Sorry I realize that’s offensive. How about camel jockey. Now what’d I say. Boy you tent merchants sure are touchy. Grow-up, would you.”
The Koppejans also say in their description: “They do not discipline their lives. There is no faith or ideal that guides them. This can be fatal for Sagittarians. They expect to get everything for nothing.” In the image above, the horses are running amuck. The writers believe that this means that the Higher Self doesn’t have the body, mind, or spirit under control. What better evidence of this than in Coulter’s quote about Chief Justice Paul Stevens: “We need somebody to put rat poison in Justice Stevens’ crème brulée.”
She mistakenly thinks she’s funny but, instead, she’s just a run amuck Sagittarian ass.
The image for the 17th degree of Sagittarius is: On a raft at sea, an exhausted man is leaning on a stick. This is explained by the Koppejans as: people with this degree go from early youth, from one drama to another. This is an outer mirror of the four shortcomings these people carry in their own character. These faults are greed, jealousy, and an aggressive ill temper. They have a hard and egotistical streak in their character. They are emotionally underdeveloped, and they are often shirkers.
By not adjusting these unpleasant characteristics, individuals like Ann become very lonely in their old age, of course, because they no one wants to be around them. As well as having this 17th degree prominent, she has other astrological aspects that add to her distressing character.
She has Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all square Pluto in Virgo. This tells us that she is pushy and self-righteous and could easily attract, with the self-destructive Sun conjunct Mars (self-hatred) square brutal Pluto, violence and mayhem. I suspect that her unpleasant character was made worse by a difficult relationship with her father. Sun=father, Mars=aggression square Pluto=intimidation. According to an article on Ann in wikipeida.org, her father was a lawyer who worked against labor unions. Not very honorable; like father, like daughter. With Pluto in Virgo square all those Sagittarian planets she is critical, carping, and judgmental towards others but rarely points the light of analysis on herself.
Her problems are further compounded by the lack of Saturn energy in her chart. Saturn has no major aspects to other planets. It is a singleton and reminiscent of George Bush’s Saturn. Both people are blatantly irresponsible—Coulter with her speech, Bush with his actions.
I keep wondering why I spend so much time analyzing miserable people like Ann Coulter. They’re all like dust in the wind. Ann only gains notoriety because there are werewolves and vampires in control in Washington.
One hundred years from now who will speak of Ann? Who will speak about Ann in glowing terms? Who will consider her a heroine in our history?
Soon I’m going to have to stop analyzing the charts of these creepy people. They’re all alike, each one of them pimples on our collective butts. Maybe in the next election, we can pop those pustules and clean them out for good.
P.S. March 2007: Ann has opened her mouth and inserted her gargantuan foot again with her comment about John Edwards being a "faggot". Uranus (erratic) in Pisces has been making a unpleasant square to her Sun (ego) Mercury (communication) midpoint.
The Saturn Neptune opposition that we've talked about in another article is stimulating her north and south nodes at 21 degrees Leo and Aquarius. The North Node in Leo represents the direction Ann is supposed to take in this lifetime while the South Node is the direction she should avoid. With the Leo North Node, getting personal attention is good for her but not in a public way, which is the Aquarius South Node. With Saturn (repression) in Leo now sitting on her north node, I'd say that getting attention from a loved one (Leo) is not forthcoming so she mistakenly thinks (Neptune on her South Node) that attention from her adoring right wing public will suffice. This time, however, the conservatives don't seem as enthralled and she's gotten negative responses from the left and right wings of the political spectrum. Poor Ann. What she really needs in her life is a little romance but,apparently, the direction leading towards the North Node is not that easy for her to take.
