It's becoming more and more obvious why Psychic Chuck and I decided to support Howard Dean for president. We appreciated that he said what he thought (Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Gemini) and what he thought was the same as what we were thinking. Besides, we weren't overly impressed with the Democratic candidates. After the last Rock the Vote debate, I can see why.
Dean said he wanted the Democrats to get back the poor southern white vote from the Republicans, who have used the race card over and over, sometimes subtly, sometimes not, for over 30 years. The Republican message has been "Don't vote for the Democrats. They're n***er lovers." So the white trash have voted for the G.O.P. and have still been marginalized by rich Republicans who aren't likely to give their children any health care either. Dean's error, if you can call it that, was that he mentioned the Confederate flag. This gave Al Sharpton, John Kerry, and John Edwards the opening to imply that Dean was a racist, which is, of course, absurd. None of the candidates are racists, except maybe Al Sharpton.
The other candidates are getting desperate and that's why they're firing buckshot into Dean's ass (he said it, first).
Bush, as we have noted many times before, has blinded himself from day one of his presidency. I talk about this repeatedly because tidbits in the news continue to surface that point to his delusionary state. In the Democratic debate last week, Al Sharpton had a catchy little phrase about Bush and his hallucinations. He's been under the influence of Neptune as it has either opposed his Mercury or Pluto or both from the beginning. His deluded(Neptune) vision (Mercury) was in evidence during a recent press conference when he said that the terrorists were escalating their attacks in Iraq because we were doing so well over there. The interesting and tragic thing about the Neptunian influence is that much of his delusions are fueled by others because the transiting planet has been in his seventh house of relationships. This influence was born out by his statement that he lets his aides fill him in about current events. He doesn't know whether he's being snowed or not. He doesn't read or watch the news on tv. He also thinks he is being advised by God. According to a new book, he believes that God put him here in the presidency to save the country. With Neptune fuzzing up his thinking, he's been mistaking the Unholy One for God. Many times over the centuries, leaders have thought they were talking to the Almighty who advised them to kill this group or that one, when they were, of course, talking to the guy from the infernal regions. It's a mistake many make because Satan is described as an angel of light. Why would Jesus' God tell anybody to kill anyone? That's what the Pope was trying to get at when he came out against the War in Iraq. But Bush wouldn't listen to a real holy man. He just listened to the voices in his head. So gang, we have a president that takes advice from the Devil.
Neptune is doubly insidious. Not only does it make you unable to perceive reality, it makes you unable even to realize that you aren't perceiving reality. It's like the mentally ill person that doesn't have a clue that he is mentally ill. His inability to see through this haze has done so much damage to the country, it's hard to see the light at the top of the hole.
I watched a program on the sci fi channel about cover-up of a UFO crash in Kecksburg, PA in 1965. The incident created a cleavage in the life of the community; those that said it happened and those that said it didn't were at each others throats for years. There were such disparate views that I was reminded of the opposite perceptions in of George Bush supporters and their antagonists. The truth is out there; something is true or it isn't. How do we discern which is which? How do Americans discern the truth when the president, himself, is in la la land?
When Neptune goes away in January, Bush will be one unhappy camper. Will the glimmer of reality that finally opens up for him be his ultimate undoing? What will happen if, after all this time, he realizes that he has been duped by the Infernal Deceiver and his henchmen, the men that stand behind Bush pulling his strings? Will he be able to admit to himself that he's the reason thousands have died in Iraq? Or will he just keel over from the shock of the truth? On the other hand, what would happen if he actually saw the light and changed his behavior? Do you really think he'd last more than a few days as president before being taken out by the evil ones behind his throne?
Neptune, which has been conjoining Dick Cheney's Aquarius Sun Sign has also been heavily influencing him since the inauguration. Unlike Bush, Neptune's influence has, apparently, not made him believe he is talking to God. It has put him in such a foggy state, however, that there have been rumblings that he could be dropped from the ticket in 2004. In an article titled "Cheney Could Be Out in 2004" authors Mary Lynn F Jones and Thomas F. Schaller argue that the rumor may have originated in the State Department. The people at State are sick of Cheney's influence in the neocon foreign policy debacle of Iraq hatched in the Defense Department. Further, he continues to be a target due to his intransigence concerning the General Accounting Office's inquiry about his energy task force put together before Enron and other energy companies defrauded California of billions. Cheney gets low marks for the connection between his position as CEO of Halliburton, and its uncontested bid to restore Iraq's oil industry. Spending so much time on the illusion of Iraq has also short-circuited his time working with Congress to pass Bush's domestic agenda.
Perhaps they are ready to dump Cheney, who has too much baggage, and replace him with a candidate like Senator Bill Frist. Then if Bush proves to be too much of a liability because of dipping poll numbers, they can get rid of him too, leaving the presidency open for a more intelligent but still tractable person, like Frist. You can't put anything past the Republican Party. Every motive they've got is an ulterior one.
