Reverend Schuller may not be such a very nice man, after all. Years ago I thought he might be, but when I look at his picture and think about his crystal cathedral, I wonder how dedicated a Christian he really is. I'm particularly suspicious now that I know he's fraternizing with a Nazi.

According to ocweekly.com and the article "Hour of White Power" by Stan Brin, Schuller's neo-Nazi friend, William W. Baker, has been a guest lecturer at a Crystal Cathedral's pastors' conference. Formerly head of the neo-Nazi Populist Party in 1984, Baker is presently chairman of Christians and Muslims for Peace(CAMP). The platform of the Populist Party, the year Baker was chairman, included calls to restore Jim Crow segregation laws as well as to repeal the public accommodations sections of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In 1982 Baker wroteTheft of a Nation, which he offers for sale during his Crystal Cathedral appearances as well on his CAMP website. The book is anti-Semitic and calls for the elimination of Israel. Further black marks against Baker include lying about his education. Although he claims to have attended Oxford University for graduate studies, there is no record of his attendance according to university officials. And although Schuller and others refer to him as Dr. Baker, there is no indication that he has an advanced degree past his graduation in 1969 from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO.

Apparently Schuller is associating with Baker because he was able to introduce the Crystal Cathedral pastor to high Islamic mucketymucks, like the Grand Mufti of Damascus.

I've also learned from an article at Rense.com that the seemingly kindly Schuller has associated with the apostate Rev. Sun Moon. Notable speakers like Schuller, George Bush Sr., Gary Bauer, and Ralph Reed get paid handsomely for their services to a man who has said, "Americans who continue to maintain their privacy and extreme individualism are foolish people...The world will reject Americans who continue to be so foolish.  Once you have this great power of love, which is big enough to swallow entire America, there may be some individuals who complain inside your stomach. However, they will be digested."

Is there any thing in Schuller's horoscope that would explain why he would associate with such sleazy people? Although as a Virgo, he wants to be of service, his Moon in Capricorn makes him coldly ambitious. He also has a grand cross(four planets in conflicted aspect to each other) between Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter and Mars. Having the planets Jupiter and Neptune involved in this pattern is not a positive indicator for a man of the cloth because Neptune indicates illusion and lack of discrimination and Jupiter confers gradiosity and misplaced enthusiasm. He must not be able to see these people for what they really are. I wonder how many religious people can't tell good from evil.

It's also very interesting to note that so-called Christians like Falwell, Bauer, Schuller, Reed, Rev James Robison, Beverly and Tim LaHaye (author of best-selling religious right-wing series, Left Behind), associate with a man that says Christ failed and claims he's the new messiah come to complete the Savior's mission. The hubris is astonishing, isn't it? But these Christians who are now far from the faith of the Son of God, don't seem to be concerned about this maniacal Capricorn, Sun Moon, who has more power and is more psychologically disturbed than another wigged out Capricorn religious apostate, Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormons.

Some "Christian" leaders are turning the church into the whore church: selling Christ for a buck. In Revelation, 18: 2-3 Christ's disciple, John, reports that he hears a voice say, "Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." According to the Oxford Companion to the Bible, Babylon was thought to symbolize Rome and by extension the Roman Catholic Church by some Protestants.   With all the revelations about the Catholic clergy and sexual abuse of children, it would appear that this symbolism may be confirmed. However, I believe that the whore church infects all of Christendom, Protestant as well as Catholic. I believe that Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Dr. Dobson, and all other ministers like Rev Schuller who associate with such bad people like Sun Moon worship in the whore church. According to an old Spanish saying, "the Devil hides behind the Cross."

John Ashcroft--A Handmaid's Tale and 1984--Redux

The evidence against Ashcroft , confirming that he is like a character in the book and movie, A Handmaid's Tale or a bureaucrat in the authoritarian government of 1984, continues to build. According to Village Voice writer, Nat Hentoff in his article,"Big John Wants Your reading List," in Ashcroft's USA Patriot Act, which has been passed by Congress, Section 215 of the Act would grant the FBI authority to obtain an order from the FISA(Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) requiring persons and businesses to produce books, records, and documents.

This means that our government can now order bookstores and libraries to cough up the names of books bought or borrowed by anyone suspected of involvement in terrorism or clandestine activities. This could put a crimp in Amazon's online book business. Although most bookstores keep no records of books bought by specific individuals, libraries and online book stores maintain records on who buys or borrows what.

Once the info is requested by the FBI, the bookstore owners and librarians are prohibited from disclosing that specific individuals have been targeted by the government. Further, if you are a targeted individual you can't call any media outlet. You can call a lawyer but since you didn't have any warning that the order was issued, your representative in court can't have objected to it. So if you or I request books on Osama Bin Laden or unauthorized biographies of George Bush from amazon.com or our local libraries will we be investigated? The Bush administration will say don't worry about it unless we are terrorists. I don't believe them. I think if they are desperate enough to stay in power they will do almost anything to quell resistance to their policies. With news of the establishment of their shadow government after 9-11, my fears are further confirmed that the apparatus for an authoritarian take over is now in place. I hope the Democrats will continue to speak out. If they don't, we are in deep doo doo.
