Bush choked on a pretzel over the weekend because he's worried about being implicated in the Enron debacle. Some people don't think it was a pretzel that brought the leader of the free world to his knees. They think he had too much to drink and passed out. Either way it doesn't look good for a president without enough brains to not lie about when he first met Kenneth Lay, CEO of Enron. Lie #1: Bush said he met Lay when he(Bush) was running for governor of Texas in 1994. Wrong. Lay has donated money to the Bushes for years and in 1988, according to an article in Mother Jones, Bush Jr.contacted officials in Argentina to try to convince them to accept a low bid from Enron to build a gas pipeline. Lie #2: Lay supported Ann Richards for Governor in 1994. Wrong. Lay has said himself that he had switched his support from Richards to Bush, because of the family ties with the old man(George H.W. Bush). Isn't it stupid to lie about something that has a paper trail. I guess Democrats lie about their sex lives and Republicans lie about their selfish greed. I find lying about ones sex life more acceptable, as long as it doesn't involve the possibility of murder(Gary Condit). It just goes to show that Democrats are more interested in sex and Republicans are more interested in money. In my life I've always chosen sex over money. Maybe that's one of the reasons I'm a Democrat and not rich.

Bush is going to be under the following stressful aspects in March: Saturn, the planet of constriction, will be in a difficult square aspect to Mars, which will increase his frustration, particularly with regards to friends and money. This energy pattern is in play now and has been since December. Neptune, the planet of deception and disillusionment will be in opposition aspect to his natal Pluto, which rules crime and the dark side. Robert Hand in his book, Planets in Transit, says that under the influence of this aspect, "you will encounter forces that try to reveal aspects of your life that you have long kept hidden from yourself." Neptune is now in Bush's Seventh House, while rules relationships. Will deception in relationships, like his connection to Kenneth Lay and others, bring unsavory hidden aspects of his life to the surface? Uranus, the planet of shocks, and explosive change, will move into his 8th House of Sex and Death. Stephen King had Uranus close to the cusp of his Eighth House when a car hit him as he walked on the side of a road near his home in Maine.

With the Enron debacle hogging all the headlines, I think quick karma is starting to erode the Bush administration retrograde thrust . Thank the Lord. If we let them keep hold of the government much longer, we'll be doomed, with little time to divert our course. The next several years are crucial in this planet's evolutionary development. The Bush bunch is trying to force us to go back to the 80's, a selfish era typified by Michael Douglas who, playing the role of a businessman in the movie, Wall Street, says, "Greed is good." But, of course, it isn't good because it destroys the fabric of society, and all of us lose, including the wealthy. Michael Berg of the Kabbalah Center, writes in his book, The Way, "Desire to receive for ourselves alone cuts us off from the Light of the Creator and makes true fulfillment impossible. Yet self-serving desire is built into our condition as human beings. The answer lies not in ridding ourselves of all desire, but in transforming self-serving desire into desire to receive for the purpose of sharing."

Enron is a fine example of a company full of individuals with self-serving desires. What a shame that they have cut themselves off from the Light of the Creator.

Is it too much to hope for that Bush, under extreme pressure from the planetary aspects, begins to transform himself from a president that is only interested in helping the rich, (the greedy men that brung him)to a president of the people? There is actually a possibility of this if we look at the degree symbol of his Cancer Sun Sign. Although the 13th degree of Cancer is described in The Zodiac Image Handbook, The Cardinal Signs, as "sinister and lugubrious", Bush is moving closer to the 14th degree, which is described as "digging up spiritual gold."

The symbol for the 13th is: "A robust man is approaching through some bushes on the left. He looks both savage and sad. Over his shoulders he has draped a recently slaughtered sheep, whose blood is still dripping. On his left a big stone marks the spot where a severed human head is placed next to a dagger." This very interesting book goes on to describe an individual with this degree as having great difficulty accepting personal guilt or "baring their share of the collective karma of the human race." This has certainly been true of the Bush family in general, who beginning at least with Prescott Bush and Herbert Walker(Georgie's great grandfather) and their support of the Nazi regime, even after Pearl Harbor, are all guilty of misusing the public trust and creating more harm than good. They certainly have not accepted baring their share of the collective karma of the human race.

Authors, Helene and Willem Koppejan also say that individuals with this degree can irrationally "react with stupidity and even cruel vehemence." And, "on a spiritual level they find themselves victims of terrorist action or the frenzy of an angry mob."

The 14th degree symbol certainly offers some hope for Bush. It is: "A magnificent star glows in a serene sky above a landscape with a bed of flowers. Nearby lies a lamb wearing a crown also ornamented with a star." The authors, the Koppejans say that this degree indicates a highly evolved Cancer, "mild, caring, and cherishing."

Will Bush become what it is possible for him to become as described in the second symbol? Or will he be a victim of the frenzy of an angry mob or a terrorist attack?
