Yesterday I was stunned by what a friend told me he saw on a David Letterman show. The night before, George Bush had appeared on the show and the next evening Letterman played the film of what went on during the commercial break when t.v. viewers weren't watching. A producer stood close enough to George for him to grab the bottom of her green jacket and wipe his glasses with it.

I guess Letterman has had it in for George since the oaf was on his show in March and made that stupid, quioxtic, and insensitive remark about Dave's heart surgery. I've it recorded elsewhere in the stupid republican quotes column, but I'll repeat it here:

"That means when it comes time to sew up your chest cavity, we use stiches as opposed to opening it up," Bush said in response to David Letterman who asked him what it meant for him to be a uniter and not a divider. A few days before Letterman had cried while describing his heart surgery.

Why would anyone want Dumbya for president? Don't people have any values?
