Psychic Vera's Secret Diary

One Week Before the Election and

It's Trick or Treat Time--Shrub Gump for President

Are we going to have Shrub Gump for President? Forest Gump is Bush's favorite movie and as we've been able to observe him throughout this political season, we can see why. Is Bush just like Gump, a pleasant brainless fellow that makes good.? Well, he seems brainless, all right, but is he that pleasant? Not when put on the defensive, and not when he's supporting policies that are clearly detrimental to this country's future.

Isn't he also like the "What Me Worry Kid", Alfred E. Newman, as Dan Perkins pictures him in his Tom Tomorrow comic strip? What has Bush really had to worry about throughout his silver spoon in the mouth existence? Daddy and Mommy were always there to make sure he didn't have to worry or lack for anything in his charmed empty life. George Bush should never have run for President. He's not up to the job. He didn't even want to run for Governor (he preferred baseball commissioner), but some unpleasant folks talked him into it. And now they've convinced the silly man that his life's purpose is to become President of the United States. These dangerous individuals thought Bush, who is empty enough to do their bidding, had enough charm to win over the American people. And they are probably right up to a point. But if elected, I predict that Bush may finally get tired of their prodding and try to strike out on his own. If he does, he has signed his death warrant. The Jupiter Saturn conjunction that signals the death of a president in office will be in effect. He will either be assassinated.,or die from the stress of the job, or because he goes up against his father's advisors whom he has claimed as his own. Either way, we get Dick Cheney and his horrible wife, Lynn, as President and First Lady. Isn't that a pretty picture?

For the last few days I've been reading another book by the great metaphysician, Alice Bailey. She wrote Externalization of the Hierarchy about the time of the Second World War, and in it she speaks of the necessity of taking sides in the battle of good vs. evil. Writing before the bombing of Pearl Harbor, she castigates the neutrals, like the United States, who hadn't take sides in the war against Hitler, Mussolini, and Japan, and says they are supporting evil if they don't actively support the allies. Everyone must take a stand for black or white. There is no gray.

Circumstances are not quite as clear cut now, but as a psychic I can see the men behind George W. Bush and I know they are not on the side of good. They want to sacrifice the well-being of the many for the well-being of the few. This is one definition of evil.

I can also see through Al Gore and although I know his flaws, I know he will stand up for the well being of the many, against the selfishness of the few. This is one definition of good.

By voting for Nader, people think they will be supporting good. Actually, they are condoing evil by claiming a neutral stance between Bush and Gore. They think there is only bad(Bush) and not so bad (Gore). But if support of Nader puts bad in the White House, they've acquiesced to evil. They'll be sacrificing the well being of the many (by electing Bush) to promote the views of the few (Nader et al). This is another definition of evil.
