Psychic Vera's Secret Diary

September 19

I met George Bush on the astral plane last night. Well, I can't say I really met him because he was so self-absorbed that he didn't talk to me or anyone else, for that matter.

There was a lecture in my library/office on the feng shui of gardening by a well-known but slightly condescending woman with a stiff upper lip. Many people attended the lecture and drank their coffee or tea while looking at the books in my library. George Bush grabbed a couple of books out of a boxed set that I was holding. It was only later that I realized the books were a set of three written by Carl Sandburg on Abraham Lincoln.

Dubya seemed forlorn as he held the books and I got the distinct impression that he was feeling left out, that others had outstripped him, had gone ahead of him intellectually, and that he was trying to make an effort to catch up. Perhaps holding those books helped him to identify with Abraham Lincoln, the patriarch of the Republican Party. Although George W. is married to a librarian, his lack of book reading is well-known. As much as I like baseball, a book shelf in his office filled with baseballs is not conducive to garnering intellectual respect. I'm afraid George, the younger, does not have it. In my dream he was trying to acquire it.

Psychic Cristina said that perhaps he is trying to find his soul.
