Bush Accrues Heavy Karma On Wednesday, Psychic Vera told her students that George W. Bush had accrued heavy karma due to the methods that he and the Republican Party had used in winning the presidential election. "He won fraudulently," Vera said. "And unfortunately for him, God won't allow him to go scot free." Reminding her students of the Watergate scandal and Richard Nixon's black karmic debt, Vera said that eventually evil action brings a punishing result. Even though George W. Bush appeared above the fray, his tacit approval of dirty Nixonian tricks before and after the election in Florida has left him without any protection from karmic retribution. Beginning with the disenfranchisement of hundreds of individuals before the election by a fraudulent scheme to clear the rolls of African American voters, and ending with the cynical blockade of counting undervotes, Bush punched a hole in our democratic process that may never be fully repaired. George Bush and the Republican party's actions in Florida reminded Vera of the South's terrible legacy of slavery and the evil prejudice towards African Americans that has plagued the region for centuries. "I remember seeing black demonstrators being poked with electric cattle prods and 'white only' signs on bathrooms," Vera said. "I remember murdered civil rights workers and lynchings of innocent black men. And the Republican purging of minority voter registration has continued the South's legacy of barring non-white voters, save for the Cuban-Americans that always vote the Republican way." Ellen Spears, associate director of the Southern Regional Council, is quoted in Salon as saying,"I think it's very safe to say this is a major post voting rights act method of continuing the old South practices of limiting the impact of the black vote." While High Court Saves Gore's Life Vera went on to say that in a clearly partisan move, the U.S. Supreme Court handed the presidential race to George W. Bush and by doing so, inadvertantly saved Vice President Al Gore's life. "The twenty year cycle that claims the life of a president while in office is in effect now. The cycle, a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction occurring this year, not only increases the liklihood of a dead president but also brings the possibility of a downturn in the economy." This is another indication that George W. Bush will attract karmic retribution for his fraudulant presidency. Meanwhile, Al Gore will go on to live a full productive life. This cycle has occurred since 1840 with William Henry Harrison being the first president to die in office. Lincoln elected in 1860 was assassinated, as well as Garfield and McKinley, elected in 1880 and 1900, respectively. The cycle continued in 1920 and 1940 when Harding and then Roosevelt died of natural causes. John F. Kennedy elected in 1960 was assassinated. The only break in this cycle occurred when Reagan, elected in 1980, survived an assassin's bullet. Interestingly enough, the fufillment of the six previous cycles occurred when Jupiter and Saturn conjuncted in fire and earth signs. When Reagan was elected the conjunction occurred in air signs. While Reagan did not die a physical death, he did die mentally. Air signs affect the mind. In an interesting footnote to American history, another fraudulent election occurred when another Cancer native and son of a former president ran against another man born in March, who had populist appeal. In 1824 John Quincy Adams lost the popular vote and the electoral college vote to Andrew Jackson but still went on to become the 10th president because of the vote of the House of Representatives. Quincy Adams didn't die in office because he wasn't elected in a zero year but he only had one term, despite a concerted effort to impugn Jackson's character as well as his wife Rachel's during the 1828 election. Besides a possible death while in office, another indication that George Bush will have no more than one term is due to his astrological sun sign. Three other presidents have been Cancers and not one of them has been elected twice. John Quincy Adams was followed by Calvin Coolidge, who was followed by Gerald Ford(not even elected once). Although America is a Cancer herself, she apparently is not overly responsive to a president that shares her sun sign. Cancer presidents have a tendency to be too conservative and too thin skinned. There is no progress under a Cancer president and after four years, the American people ruled by unconventional Aquarius long for a change. With this Jupiter/Saturn cycle in effect, it seems that the people will get a change before Bush's four year term is up. |
