(c)Bare Bottoms Bother Bush Or Friend of the Moonies Gets Mooned
June 14, 2001 in Sweden Apparently over 1000 angry demonstrators bared their buttocks to Bush after he made two more gaffs on Thursday. When he said, "Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease," the crowd became annoyed, but he really inflamed the demonstrators when he stated that there should be "more countries" in Europe. Psychic Vera said that it was fantastic to have a such a comedian in the White House. "Just think of all the joy he's bringing to the us and the rest of the world. Certainly his sense of humor is making up for all the horrible decisions initiated in his first five months in office." Once again we've seen a nasty reaction to our president from across the Atlantic. Sam Parry in an article in consortiumnews.com mentions a response he got from a Danish cab driver while commenting on windmills in Denmark on a recent trip to Europe. The fellow said that we'd have alternative energy in America if we didn't have such a fool for a president. Further, the Republicans in this country don't seem too happy with him either. Yesterday Bush stated that our Navy should vacate the island of Vieques, where it does training exercises. The Puerto Ricans have been trying to get us to release our hold on the island due to a death caused by military exercises . They don't like the toxic contamination on the island either. Clinton engineered a plan for vacating the island and spending $40,000,000 on public works. The Bush administration has given the Navy only 6 million of the already authorized funds. Meanwhile, some Republicans say that he's supporting the withdrawal of the Navy from the island to shore up support with Latino voters in the 2004 election. The right wing animosity to Bush's plan for Vieques further supports Psychic Vera's prediction that next March Bush will be in danger from his own party. Sociopathic Swine May Get Post on National Security Council David Corn at The Nation magazine online writes that Elliott Abrams, described by Admiral William Crowe Jr. as a "snake that's hard to kill", is, unfortunately, up for a post on the National Security Council. "A more despicable person could not be put in the position as senior director for democracy, human rights, and international operations," remarked Psychic Vera. While working for the Reagan administration as an assistant secretary of state, Abrams lied to Congress about his solicitation of 10 million dollars from the Sultan of Brunei for the secret Contra support network. He also lied about numerous human rights violations in Latin America. Apparently, George Bush II likes the right-wing sleaze balls that lied about torture and murder in Latin America while working for Ronald Reagan. There's Negroponte who covered up Honduran death squad activity. Bush wants to place him as Ambassador to the UN. |
