I’m hoping that the energy from this horrible aspect dissipates soon. It peaked on Wednesday, January 2nd but because Mars has been retrograding and moving very slowly it’s taking longer than normal to get rid of it.
Tiger Kills
This dangerous aspect first became noticeable on Christmas day when the tiger killed a young man at the San Francisco Zoo. I’m sure those men were antagonizing the animal. What else would motivate her to escape from her outside grotto? Mars Pluto is a violent intimidating aspect. One woman told the chronicle that she had seen three young men harassing the lions an hour before. The fourth man she recognized as Carlos Sousa, who was killed by the tiger. He wasn’t harassing the lions, she said.
Bhutto is Assassinated
December 27th Mars Opposing Pluto blasted Benazir Bhutto’s chart and she was assassinated. She had many difficult aspects that would have frightened any astrologer. Was she warned and didn’t pay heed or were astrological predictions never paid attention to in her family? The transiting Pluto (the dark side) in her 12th House of secret enemies opposing Mars (violence) picked up her Sun Mars conjunction in her 6th house of health and work. Her progressed Sun was conjunct Pluto in her 8th house of Death and the transiting Moon in Leo triggered that progressed conjunction. Transiting Neptune was also stimulating that progressed aspect, making the situation confusing and deceptive. Saturn (limitation) was also in the 8th House of Death making an opposition aspect to her progressed Ascendant (her physical body). The handwriting was on the wall. Why didn’t anyone pay heed?
Since Pluto is now traveling from the sign of Sagittarius (the dark side of religion) into Capricorn (dark side of government) I’d say the religious right wing in Pakistan, which is trying to overthrow Musharref’s government made a deal with him. If he’d stay out of their way, they’d take out Bhutto and leave him alone, for now.
Apparently, it was the Bush administration that decided that this would be the perfect time for her to come back and become a candidate for the planned Pakistan election in January. It was the perfect time for Bush since he is the Kali infested destroyer. Pluto has overwhelmed him and he has come to enjoy his dark side. He has put us all in grave danger and at least subconsciously he enjoys it. Serial Killer Kills and Decapitates Meredith Emerson
The serial killer of Meredith Emerson, who was murdered in a state park in Georgia, is a Scorpio/Sagittarius cusper, born on Nov 22, 1946. Gary Hilton has 5 Scorpio planets and I think if we could find out his time of birth, we’d see that he has a Sagittarius Sun sign. Despite the intensity of Scorpio energy, the Sagittarian Sun is more likely to be a serial killer. Sagittarius is a mutable sign and it joins the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces, as being the most likely to be a serial killer. The strange thing about Gary Hilton’s chart is its lack of prominent transiting aspects to trigger the killing. I think with all the Scorpio energy in his birth chart Hilton was extremely suppressed sexually and it finally came out through the murder of Meredith Emerson and apparently other women before her. Sagittarius can be quite irresponsible, thinking it has the right to do anything it wants. With Mars in Sagittarius (aggressive in natural surroundings) conjunct the South Node, this was the very worst path he could take. Brutal violence with no regrets. He also has Saturn conjunct Pluto which either makes the dark side very concrete or works as transformative agent, changing darkness into light. Hilton became the darkness and violence was the easy path because the Saturn/Pluto aspect was making an easy trine to the Mars/South Node conjunction.
This is not the last we’ll see of Mars/Pluto. It will peak again on March 7th but it won’t be as horrendous because Mars will be moving forward and past Pluto fairly quickly. With Mars in Cancer, the sign of the home and Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of government, we may be looking at some disruption of our domestic routine due to governmental economic shenanigans.
