With Saturn conjunct his Midheaven and square his Ascendant, it’s a wonder Rudy Giuliani has made it this far in his quest for worldly power and self-aggrandizement. However, there is another politician with something similar; Bush has Saturn square the Midheaven and he’s president of the United States. Apparently, it doesn’t stop politicians from ascending the heights but it can bring them low if they fail in their responsibility to the public. Look what happened to Adolph Hitler. Saturn is the planet of karma and restriction. The Midheaven says something about career and our public image. Both Bush and Giuliani have a problem in this area of their lives. With Saturn you have to play by the rules and neither man has done so.
With Bush, rules were broken all of his life and daddy mopped up the consequences. Now he says the Big Fella in the sky tells him what to do so he doesn’t have to take any responsibility. How can God be wrong?
For Giuliani, his restless search for variety (his Gemini planets) and ego-gratification (Leo planets) and heredity (his father was a crook—according to Wikipedia, “Harold Giuliani had trouble holding a job and had been convicted of felony assault and robbery and served time in Sing Sing. After his release he served as a Mafia enforcer for his brother-in-law Leo D'Avanzo, who ran an organized crime operation involved in loan sharking and gambling at a restaurant in Brooklyn”) has led him into unsavory relationships with underworld people like Bernard Kerik and Alan Placa, a pedophile priest.
With Neptune the natural ruler of the Seventh House of Relationships in the First House, Rudy has been very confused about his significant others, like his third wife, Judy, and fails to see them for who they really are. The Neptune in the First House is also an important influence on his own identity, which is nebulous at best. Ergo his predilection for cross dressing. Apparently, that horrible video showing Giuliani in drag with Donald Trump nuzzling his head between Rudy’s gigantic breasts is only the tip of the iceberg. He has gotten away with it so far because the Sun is conjunct Uranus (odd ball) and trine (gets away with) Neptune (the fantasy of being a woman). However, Saturn is square the Neptune so sooner or later he’s going to get his comeuppance for daring to appear as such an ugly woman in public. He does have Venus in Taurus in his 9th House of public speaking making a positive trine to that Neptune and Ascendant, allowing him to persist with the persona that he concocted right have 9-11. At least some women (Venus) are still convinced that he was a hero.
NYC firefighters do not agree. With Mars conjunct Pluto, Giuliani can act like a petty dictator and can attract unmitigated animosity as well as connections with underworld characters.
In a letter to members of the IAFF, International Association of Firefighters, president Harold Schaitberger, blames the former mayor for "unforgivable" post-terror attacks decisions, including reducing the number of firefighters involved in the recovery operation and instituting a "scoop and dump" operation to expedite cleanup, which the union says shows a "disgraceful lack of respect" for the victims.
The letter also attacks Giuliani's devotion to fallen firefighters, arguing that the changes in the cleanup operation followed the recovery of millions in gold and silver from Ground Zero. The reversed course shows Giuliani "valued money and gold … more than the lives and memories of those lost."
Giuliani is just another Republican disaster waiting to happen. Will the American people be stupid enough to elect a mob connected cross dresser?
