Iran’s Ahmadinejad has been demonized by George W. Bush, the Neo-Conservatives and the state department and yet the two of them have several astrological factors in common. For example, both are water signs, strongly impacted by Neptune. George Bush is a Cancer with a square (discordant) aspect from Neptune (planet of illusion, delusion) while Ahmadinejad is a Scorpio with a conjunction aspect (in the same place) to Neptune. Both men are seriously deluded. George still thinks he’s talking to a god who is telling him to continue the slaughter in Iraq and is whispering in his ear about attacking Iran. Mahmoud believes there are no homosexuals in his country and that the holocaust didn’t happen.
Both leaders have prominent Leo planets: Bush’s Mercury, Pluto, and Venus and Mahmoud’s Moon, but neither are popular with the populace. Unlike Bill Clinton whose Sun sign is Leo, these men are both thin-skinned water signs who don’t have the charm and charisma. Bill Clinton makes people feel better about themselves; George doesn’t. I doubt if the Iranians really feel number one with Mahmoud either. People have been criticizing them for not paying enough attention to domestic concerns, for focusing on foreign affairs instead: Bush with Iraq and Iran and Ahmandinejad with the U.S. government. Both men have also pushed conservatives in both countries to distance themselves from their “leaders”.
Conservatives don’t like Bush’s economic policies, going into debt (under Clinton we had a surplus) or Mahmoud’s erratic morality. He’s been criticized for not being strict enough on the Islamic dress code for women (hijab), for rescinding the order that women couldn’t watch men participating in sports, and for kissing the hand of his old schoolteacher. Students don’t like either man. Both have demonstrated against the two presidents.
There are obvious differences between Mahmoud and George. The Iranian leader is smarter. According to Wikipedia, “In 1976, he took Iran's national university entrance exams (konkoor) to gain admission into Iran's top universities. His test score ranked him 132nd among over 400,000 participants that year, landing him at the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) as an undergraduate student of civil engineering. He has a masters in engineering and a doctorate in transportation engineering.
Mahmoud has had a harder life than George. He wasn’t born with a spoon in his mouth. His father was a blacksmith not a president. While Bush has positive Uranian aspects giving him surprisingly good luck (particularly the positive trine to Jupiter (the planet of bounty), Ahmadinejad has a discordant square aspect from the Sun to Uranus, making him erratic and adversely affected by unpredictable, unpleasant events (like the tirade by the president of Columbia U.)
While Bush has no major aspects to his Saturn, making him irresponsible and lazy, Armadinejad’s Saturn is square Pluto and possibly the Moon and conjunct the North Node, trine Uranus. He’s a hard worker on a very hard road (Saturn conjunct North Node square Pluto), with really no room for error and he’s made plenty of them. As a Cancer, Bush can climb back in his mommy’s womb and yell foul if treated too badly by the meanies that don’t like him. Armadinejad’s Scorpio energy leaves him vulnerable to abusive treatment if he doesn’t alter his course.
