Dick Cheney could be in deep doo doo as Scooter Libby’s defense team refuses to allow their client to be a sacrificial lamb for the sociopaths in the White House.
I just finished psychologist Martha Stout’s book, The Sociopath Next Door. Although she says only 4 percent of the population has no conscience, I’m convinced that the Bush Administration includes more than their fair share. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a higher percentage in the White House now than there has been in any past administration.
Cheney once again revealed his sociopathic colors in a recent interview with Wolf Blitzer. Cold, arrogant, defensive, he believes the War in Iraq has been a success and he has nothing to apologize about. Along with Bush, he’s also influenced by the First Ray of destruction.
I always think of the degree symbol for Cheney’s Aquarius Sun Sign when I see a picture of him with his head tilted at a weird angle, “A well-dressed strong looking man is walking towards us. However, on second look, it seems like his head is separated from his body. And that his left hand is also detached from it.”
According to Helene and Willem Koppejan in, The Zodiac Image Handbook, The Fixed Signs, people with this degree prominent lack contact with their Higher Self. It’s very difficult to respond to a sociopath who takes no responsibility for mistakes, who doesn’t care what people think of him, who feels no guilt.
We long to see something, anything, affect this man. We’d like to see a change of mind, a little compassion, a mea culpa. Not gonna happen. If he is indeed a sociopath, it’s forever.
Martha Stout says sociopaths “see nothing wrong with their way of being in the world.” In fact, she says, they think their way of being is superior to ours. We can see that in Cheney’s disdainful treatment of Wolf Blitzer. Even the title of the Newsweek article about him, The Man Without Doubt is an indication of his sociopathic personality. What normal person has no doubt, thinks everything that they do is perfect? Astrologically, Cheney’s lack of self-understanding is also supported by Neptune, the planet of confusion, illusion, and self-deception in his First House of the Personality.
Sociopaths often speak of the naivete of others: Cheney has often said that people don’t understand what danger we’re in, what the War in Iraq is all about, what they (the Bush Administration) have to do to protect us. We’re naïve if we think we can come to any kind of diplomatic agreement without force.
The best we can ask for is that something sticks, that the Democrats continue to investigate until like Spiro Agnew, he resigns in disgrace. It could finally happen in September when Saturn goes over his ascendant and travels into his First House, which represents the personality and the physical body. Saturn is doing its damage to the president right now with its jaunt through his First House. His poll numbers have never been worse and when Saturn opposition Neptune hits Bush’s Venus in February during Mercury retrograde, the Democrats in Congress may finally hold Bush and Cheney accountable.
