Psychic Vera’s Cosmic Advice Week of January 4

During the next seven days the Moon travels from Scorpio to Aquarius. Scorpio Monday Tuesday starts the week off with intense feelings, and issues involving sex, death and joint resources. Sagittarius Wednesday, Thursday we enjoy traveling, searching for wisdom, and researching higher education options. Capricorn Friday and Saturday are good for organizational projects and career challenges. Aquarius Sunday we enjoy community projects and time spent with friends.

There are four significant planetary events this week. On Tuesday, Mercury goes retrograde. On Thursday, Jupiter goes retrograde.  For the next several months it may be more difficult to find publishing opportunities or options for higher education. On Friday, Mercury will retrograde back into Capricorn. On Saturday is the New Moon in Capricorn. This is a month to consider new career opportunities.

In Mayan Astrology* on December 27 the cycle changes to 1 IK, also known as Wind. Spiritual , strange and unstable people influence events. External control is weak and barriers are destroyed. On January 10th, the cycle changes to 1 Men, also known as Eagle. This favors self-interest but rash actions usually prove problematic.

There are no long void-of-course Moon periods.

A good day for planting is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Remember, being aware of astrological energies means that not only are we in tune with the cosmos, we’re also in tune with ourselves. Socrates said an unexamined life is not worth living, and another ancient Greek said, Know thyself. We can convert stressful planetary aspects to harmonious energies if we are aware of how they affect us and we are willing to take responsibility for our actions, without blaming others for our difficulties.
